KWARA NG-CARES FOR MSME RA3 - OPERATIONAL COST GRANT REGISTRATION

This application is meant to be filled by MSMEs seeking to apply for the operational grant from the Nigeria Covid-19 Action Recovery Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) Programme- a world bank funded intervention delivered by the Kwara State Government by providing relief, facilitating the recovery, and enhancing the capabilities of local MSMEs through support designed to reduce the vulnerability and cushion the effect of income loss brough about by COVID-19 pandemic and its resultant disruption to regular commercial activity.

OPERATIONAL GRANT

This grant is to support operational expenditure after the onset of Covid-19. This grant aims to incentivize MSMEs to reach pre-COVID 19 level of employment and would help cover operational costs of affected businesses.

Operational grants for MSMEs covers any verifiable/documented monthly operational cost but not limited to staff salaries, documented utility bills, shop rent and documented private security expenses.

WHO CAN APPLY?

  • Nano-Scale Businesses with 1-2 staff
  • Micro-Scale Businesses with 3-9 staff
  • Small-Scale Businesses with 10-50 staff
  • Informal business in Kwara State that has been operating for 3 years & above, has a business registration with SMEDAN or any other Kwara State Government Bodies/Organizations.
  • Formal businesses in Kwara State that has a CAC business registration and has been operating for 2 years & above.
  • Businesses with physical shops or offices (STRICTLY ONLINE BUSINESSES EXCLUDED)

REQUIREMENTS FOR MICRO & SMALL BUSINESS

  • BVN of business owner
  • Upload evidence of business in existence(Picture)
  • Upload evidence of shop rent receipts(If applicable)
  • Upload evidence of Utility(Electricity) bills (If applicable)
  • Business Registration- where Applicable (CAC for formal business, SMEDAN or any other kwara state Government registration for informal business).
  • Upload Evidence of staff salaries(payroll) for the past 3 months
  • Upload Evidence of Tax payment Receipts(If Applicable)

REQUIREMENTS FOR NANO BUSINESS

  • BVN of business owner
  • Upload evidence of business in existence(Picture)
  • Upload evidence of shop rent receipts(If applicable)
  • Upload evidence of Utility(Electricity) bills(If applicable)
